Saffron nola, the Vilkhu family’s first full time restaurant venture, stemming from their pop up restaurant of 6 years and their 26-year catering business. Chef Arvinder Vilkhu marries his Indian heritage with local and global flavors while using classical and modern techniques. Ashwin Vilkhu, GM and Bar director uses those same nuanced flavors and incorporates them into a thoughtful cocktail menu. Pairings were also taken into account when developing the wine menu, while paying very close attention to what varietals work best with South Asian food.
The super approachable menu is the Vilkhu family’s communication of the evolution of Indian cuisine. Like their dining table at home, the menu was designed for sharing. The overall goal is to create a memorable dining experience, while engaging all senses.
