ThirstyBear Brewing Company brews CCOF and FDA certified organic beer, because we care how the agricultural practices that grow your barley and hops affect our planet. Organic farming uses neither chemical fertilizers nor pesticides. The use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides has numerous, extremely serious, negative impacts on our planet. It is more challenging to brew with only organic ingredients. There are far fewer choices for organic ingredients than there are for conventional ingredients. We believe it is worth the effort!
