Art & Wine: A Perfect Pairing
Join Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art (BGFA) Manager of Exhibitions Richard Wonderly III and Jason Smith, Director of Wine and Master Sommelier, as he pairs wines from Bellagio’s cellar with artworks featured in the current exhibition, “Painting Women”.
“I have spent many years studying wine, and these events are pushing my wine knowledge to a whole new level,” Smith states. “Art & Wine: A Perfect Pairing not only allowed me to view the works of art from a different perspective, but it added a visual dimension to the joy of tasting wine.”
This series offers a unique way to experience BGFA’s world-class exhibitions again or for the first time. Art & Wine events are held the second Wednesday of every month. Selections vary, but have ranged from champagne, tequila, and even beer, depending on the aesthetic inspiration. The Perfect Pairing series runs from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., with an interactive wine and art discussion by Jason Smith and Richard Wonderly III beginning at 6 p.m.
