The Applewood Restaurant offers ingredient-driven garden and ocean to fork cuisine. It embodies our celebration of Sonoma’s natural richness and wine country’s life style. Applewood’s Wine Program is Russian River Centric.
The Restaurant at Applewood was honored with one star by the MICHELIN guide for 2011 and 2012
Our climate controlled wine cellar located under the restaurant holds bottles of wine from all of Sonoma County’s renowned wine appellations as well as a few of those being produced in Napa and even further a field, but our focus has always been on the incredible wines being produced right here in our own Russian River Valley.
Beginning in 1998, our cellar collection has been awarded the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence.
In recognition of outstanding support of Sonoma County Winegrape Growers Applewood has been designated a Sonoma County Wine Star – 4 stars by the Sonoma County Winegrape Commission .
The Applewood Inn Wine Cellar has also won numerous Double Gold Medals at the Sonoma County Harvest Fair including Best of Show in 2001
On Sunday, corkage fee is waved on all Russian River Valley wines.
