With its unique setting, great food in an area known for great food and perhaps the most beautiful and inclusive views in the entire Bay Area, Assemble restaurant has been wowing its patrons since it opened last February. Located next to the spectacular Craneway Pavilion (featured in the movie Tucker) and adjacent to the Rosie the Riveter Visitor’s Center in the fabulously reimaged Richmond shipyards, Assemble has at its helm three of the Bay Area’s leading restaurateurs, Richard Mazzera (César, Chez Panisse), Terumi Shibata-Mazzera (Downtown Restaurant, Corso) and Chef Maggie Pond (César), who has come aboard to completely revamp the menu into what she calls “re-tooled American classics.”
