The Busy Bee Cafe location has been owned by Hilda and Edmund Warren since 1963. Opening as “Warrens Coffee Shop”, it evolved as the premier meeting place for all of Ventura’s earliest merchants. As time went on it took on a different decor, but always maintained its reputation for great ambiencece and super delicious food.
In 1989, Ed & Hilda decided once more to change the decor. They decided to go back the 50’s menus and theme. The waittresses wear bobby sox and cheerleader outfits. Bright red and white checkered tiles line the floors, and there is a juke box at every table. This theme has been a great success and we expect this trend to continue.
