Owned and operated by Ernie Fernandez and Marcelo Chopa, Caffe Vialetto is nestled on the south side of the Gables and is now celebrating its 15th successful year. The restaurant offers an intimate setting and upscale décor that makes Caffe Vialetto the ideal destination for romantic evenings, special celebrations and events. The dining room is decorated with original artwork and soft lighting, creating a sophisticated, yet inviting ambience. In addition to classic dishes such as Spaghetti Carbonara, Linguine Vongole and Chicken Parmesan, Caffe Vialetto serves unconventional favorites like Salmon Sashimi, Tomato ropa vieja and Tuna Toston. Seafood lovers can enjoy delicious alternatives most of the year, including scallops, shrimp, salmon and tuna. The rotating daily specials typically include at least three to five fish entrée’s. Guests can always pair their meal with fine wine from the extensive wine list, and everyone should save room for one of Caffe Vialetto’s decadent desserts like homemade guava or dulce de leche cheesecake, the Bomb or their version of Tiramisu, the famous “Funk”. Spend a night at Caffe Vialetto and indulge in one of South Florida’s most unique dining experiences where every meal is a delight for the palate and every guest is treated like one of the family.
