Cassia is a collaboration between husband-and-wife duos Bryant & Kim Ng and Josh Loeb & Zoe Nathan. The culinary couples have teamed to open a 180-seat Southeast Asian brasserie in a restored 1937 Art Deco building in downtown Santa Monica on the corner of 7th Street and Arizona. Taking its roots from Bryant and Kim’s culinary heritage and experiences, Cassia celebrates the fresh, vibrant flavors of Southeast Asia influenced by the brasseries of France, striking a unique balance of soulful, ancestral cuisine and contemporary, California sensibility utilizing the best quality ingredients from local farmers and suppliers. Fans can look forward to Bryant’s (a Food & Wine 2012 Best New Chef Winner) housemade charcuterie, a chilled seafood bar, wood-grilled meats and vegetables, seafood, salads, soups, noodles, and rice. Playful, well-made cocktails, beer, and wine also be served.
