Monique and Georges owned Chez Georges restaurant in Kirkwood and Westheimer for 13 years. Afterwards, they opened 7 more restaurants including Bistro Don Camillo, Café la Brocante, and Bistro des Arts.

Chef Georges first opened Chez Georges at this location in 2005. After a short break from the business, he decided to return and reopen as Georges Bistro and feature very traditional cuisine from the French countryside. His menu options include escargot, pâtés, foie gras médallions, andouillette, quenelle, magret de canard, rabbit stew, baba au rhum, and crèpes suzette.
