Lincoln Park Wine Bar, named after the neighborhood directly behind us, is located at 198 Sir Francis Drake Boulevard in San Anselmo. The interior space consists of two separate rooms, each with it’s own intention and vibe. Those looking for an intimate bar atmosphere can find it in the front room where you hang out at the Carrera marble bar in vintage bar stools. The side room was designed with comfort in mind so plan to sink into the built in banquettes and lounge atmosphere.
Lincoln Park strongly believes in utilizing the most local resources possible and supports that by how we source the food and choose the wines (& beers). Our ‘Farm to Table’ and ‘Grape to Glass’ philosophy lets patrons know how far their food and drink has traveled in order to reach them. Chef Simmons serves ‘medium plates’…some of which are seasonally inspired by backyard organic produce that local residents can bring in for trade. Many of the wines are crafted by Marin locals and Lincoln Park features these ‘wines with stories’ by having the wine maker come in to tell them.
The creation of Lincoln Park Wine Bar marks the return of chef Stephen Simmons to the San Anselmo community, the vision of longtime bar owner Jennifer Ashby-Simmons to create ‘her kind of place’ and the transition for Holly Bragman from the family production side of wine making to that of wine director.
