Founded in 1972 McKinnon’s, has been the destination restaurant for many foodies and famous Atlantans alike, such as Dick Rich, Ivan Allen, Sam Massel and Senator Paul Coverdell. Owner Aziz Merham has been instrumental in maintaining the high level of service and culinary excellence which has garnered McKinnon’s many awards and the distinction of the being the oldest continuously operating restaurant in Atlanta. Mckinnon’s now lavishly caters to a new generation of clientele seeking the classic New Orleans dining experience.
Mckinnon’s kitchen has always been the backbone of the restaurant, and today it still serves the marvelous Louisiana seafood dishes reflecting the refined cooking of Creole New Orleans as well as the more highly seasoned dishes of Cajun bayou.
