Menara Moroccan Restaurant opened their doors over 30 years ago with the idea of bringing a new sense of culture and cuisine to the south bay. Menara was the first Moroccan restaurant in San Jose and has continued to provide unbeatable quality with a rich ambience.
Menara was started by first generation owner Arvind Shah in the late 1970’s and has remained under the same ownership. Arvind believed the concept of Moroccan cuisine was what San Jose needed, and was proven correct. The restaurant has an award winning menu, which has been recognized multiple times over the years. Family and friends have joined throughout the years to give Menara the additional ingredient it needed to be unique. Bob Desai and Tony Tantiyavarong came in a few years after conception to take part in the restaurant, and so it is the three partners who have come together to make Menara the prized restaurant it is today.
Since 1977 Menara has provided the Bay Area with a Moroccan experience matched by no other. The owners have maintained the Menara standard by offering the same award winning menu and breathtaking ambience that has been loved for over 30 years.
