Located inside the Ventura Wine Co., The Cave is a place for exploring the pairing of food and wine.After 25 years in the wine business, we have concluded that pairing of food and wine is not a perfect science…but merely the selection of a good wine and simple food prepared exceptionally well.Our goal is to offer you good food, good wine, great value, and encourage you to discover for yourself what you like…without the interference of some so-called “expert” trying to convince you what is right.In The Cave you will find that we have 40 wines available by-the-ounce for tasting on our state of art Enomatic Machines. These machines dispense wines by 1, 3, or 5 ounce pours allowing you to taste a variety of wines before committing to one by the glass. We also offer craft beers by the bottle, and champagne and sparkling wines by the glass. The wine selection changes frequently and we encourage you to return often to discover something new.
