Toma Restaurant and bar is located at 324 West Cabrillo Boulevard, Santa Barbara, CA. The restaurant and historic building retains an old world charm, inside and out, that has been at this location on the Santa Barbara waterfront for over 80 years.
As the old adage goes, “to do anything great you must do it for 10,000 hours.” Proprietors, Tom & Vicki Dolan have over 65 combined years of experience in the food & beverage industry. “We have a passion and love for the business of entertaining our guests, friends and family. We strive to offer an incredible culinary experience with a warm and friendly service driven atmosphere that you will want to come back to time and time again. We have always loved the experience of meeting new people and are excited to welcome you soon.”
Our Wines
Great care has been given in creating our wine list. Focused on “hidden gems” selected from around Italy and the best of our local vintners, our goal is offering great wine at a great value.
From the Chef
Executive Chef Nat Ely creates hand crafted cuisine supporting our local fisherman, farmers, foragers and food artisans. He began his career in Seattle, Washington working as banquet chef at the Sandpoint Country Club and advanced to lead chef at Seattle’s premier restaurant in the Pike Place market, Place Pigale. Nat’s career led him to Santa Barbara’s Emilio’s restaurant in the mid-nineties and he went on to become executive chef at the Los Olivos Café (from the movie Sideways). Toma Restaurant & Bar is excited to welcome him and his extraordinary talent for superb cuisine to the Toma dining experience. Come savor a wide array of flavors from a palette refreshing Mediterranean chopped salad of heirloom tomato, cucumber, sweet pepper, red onion, feta cheese, watercress, finished with a garlic lemon oil dressing, to a classic Gnocchi dish of rock shrimp, fava beans, roasted garlic, dried tomato and truffle butter.
