Lending ourselves to the rich history of America’s Finest City, we flourish with a sophistication that can only come from the test of time. At our root is San Diego’s Old City Hall building, established in 1874. Now a restaurant & lounge, we pay homage to our history while serving the city with an entertaining dining experience that comes with authentic old world charm.

At Florent, we believe craft isn’t a word that should be used lightly. Our cocktail menu is unpretentious yet vigilant, honoring barkeeps past with modern takes on classic recipes. Espresso-infused tequila? Chocolate bitters? Cinnamon & clove-infused whiskey? We believe there are no limits on the taste of creativity, especially when it comes to cocktails.

Locally grown vegetables, rare protein and fresh fish drive our menu. The modern-american and global-gastro charm shines bright in recipes such as Nashville Hot Quail, Tiger Shrimp Fettuccine and Smoked Cheddar Mac & Cheese. Brunch & lunch are equally as delicious, especially when paired with Bottomless Mimosas or Bacon Bloody Marys.

DINING WITH YOUR DOG, A DOWNTOWN TREAT

Florent Restaurant & Lounge is introducing a new concept that opens their patio to your pooch! With help from North Park’s esteemed pet palace, Dexter’s Deli, Florent has put together a pup-approved menu starting with snacks, moving to entrées, and ending with desserts – and of course, a (non-alcoholic) brew-ski for your hound-ski called Bowser’s Beer!

The menu includes light snacks, such as a rawhide bone chew or a tasty jerky treat if your buddy only wants something light. If your canine has the big cravings, Florent provides (unseasoned, human-grade) patties with cheese in two sizes (2 oz and 8 oz) and a salmon filet. Finish off your dog’s day with a Perfect Little Pup-Cake or human-grade made biscuits, all served up and ready for consumption. Everything is made to order (with the exception of dessert) and delivered in conjunction with your order of Florent’s award-winning (Margarita Month, Chefs & Shakers) new spring cocktails and amazing eats.
