Located in Southern California, we have locations in the Gaslamp Quarter and Old Town in San Diego, Plus Newport Beach & Oceanside.
We have live music and dancing in Old Town and Oceanside, along with a host of special events, all of the big games and every fun holiday. We’re family friendly but we have a romantic side too. Ocean views, patio dining and cozy nooks to “Relax a while, Baja Style!”
Our Lobster Tale begins in Puerto Nuevo, about an hour’s drive south of San Diego along the Baja Peninsula of Mexico. We’d travel south to feast on Buckets overflowing with Baja Style seasoned Lobster tails, Crab legs, marinated Chicken and Carne Asada. We learned to wrap everything up in warm flour tortillas along with ranchero beans, Mexican rice and a hot red chili sauce. Of course iced Mexican beers and frothy Margaritas were used for ”washing it all down”. Eventually the idea to bring these great recipes and menu ideas to San Diego and beyond was accomplished.
