Matteen is a seasoned Angeleno chef with 7 years of fine dining and private dining experience in some of the city’s most renowned restaurants, including the Wilshire, Eva, and Nic’s of Beverly Hills. Born in raised in Los Angeles as a first generation American, his cooking is able to integrate styles and cuisines from all around the world in the true LA manner. Much of his culinary expertise integrates the art of fine dining with healthy, wholesome, and all natural cooking. Having a solid background in pastry as the executive pastry chef of Fraiche in Santa Monica, he is a highly versatile chef able to meet the specific needs of a plethora of personal palates.
