Altamare celebrated 12 years as a local South Beach favorite this past July 2014 – a fusion between owner Claudio Giordano’s two passions: Italian cuisine and fishing. These aspects come together in a menu that showcases the best catches from local fishing boats intermingled with classic Italian dishes.
Our décor reflects South Beach style however, the food is anything but pretentious. The likes of wahoo crudo; fresh oysters; short rib lasagnette; and beautifully presented fresh fish are just a few items that keep locals coming back.
We are located on the Western end of Lincoln road mall, just off the beaten path. Stray from the overly-commercial glamorized retail stores and tourist trap eateries, with a short hop across Alton Road to discover this local favorite.
