Family Italian restaurant owned and operated by Identical twins Jeff and Jim. Known for our thin crust pizza, famous meatballs and our great sauces which are all homemade. All our soups are from scratch. Our Alfredo sauce is made per order. If you don’t see something on the menu please ask & we’ll try to make it for you.
History
Established in 1963.
Joe & Helen Sams opened the Capri in 1963. They were known for good food at a reasonable price and nice a cozy place to eat. Our family, the Thiels started coming to the Capri in 1986, when our parents, Richard & Caroline Thiel bought a house in the Eagle Rock Community. We were told they had the best thin crust pizza in the area. We fell in love with the place right away! In the late 90’s Joe & Helen wanted to sell the Capri. We decided to take on the adventure of being restaurant owners. Mom ran the restaurand at first, dad did the books & Jeff & myself, Jim, worked any way we could. Mom & Dad retired in 2006 & now “the Twins”, Jeff & Jim are running it. We still have the same goals: great food at a reasonable price.
About the Owner
We are identical twins. We have been running the restaurant for 4 years. We love our food. We are actors. You might of seen us in Murphy Brown, Teen Angel, the National Body Challenge and various commercials.
