The warehouse-inspired look, stainless steel bar and glass-enclosed private room bring a contemporary twist to the naturally rustic cellar designs at WD 555. WD 555 displays its wine tastefully yet abundantly. From the exceptional bottles found in the intimate Vintage Room to the Magnum-size ones along the 15-foot wall behind the horseshoe bar and throughout the retail space, adjacent to the bar, WD 555’s priority is clear with rows of incredibly priced wines available for consumption on site ($7.50 corkage fee and $15 for bottle from the Vintage Room) or for sale.
The newly refurbished patio, with a convenient Pergola roof, is an additional space that creates a convivial atmosphere perfect for sharing a glass of wine and authentic French bites while relishing South Florida’s best weather.
Weekly gatherings such as Tuesday Tasting and Pink Fridays extend an opportunity to mingle with like-minded patrons and getting to know signature wines with the guidance of WD 555’s own sommelier. For a private affair, WD 555 can produce an elegant dinner for 12 in the Vintage Room or a cocktail for 50 around the bar or outdoors.
Tuesday Tastings
Every week from 6 to 8pm, loyal patrons are welcomed for a complimentary taste of three hand selected bottles. In partnership with WD 555’s exclusive wine producers and distributors, Tuesday Tasting evenings have become a staple in the neighborhood. They are a fantastic opportunity to learn more about WD 555’s remarkable selection directly from its knowledgeable sommeliers and mingle with like-minded guests.
